Project is inspired by game created 2000. The main goal of it is to create a modern mechanics and visual representation for this game.

Zakres/Overview

Celem projektu jest odtworzenie układu poziomu oraz uzupełnienie go mechanikami, których będą odpowiadały gameplayowi i aktualnym trendom.

Jako dodatkowe inspiracje przy tworzeniu tego projektu wzięłam pod uwagę grę Alien Isolation oraz film Alien Ressurection , na podstawie którego była tworzona orginalna gra.

The goal of the project is to recreate the level layout and complement it with mechanics that correspond to gameplay and current trends. As additional inspirations for this project, I took into account the game Alien Isolation and the movie Alien Resurrection, which served as the base for the original game.

Proces projektowy/Workflow

W takcie pracy pierwszym krokiem było zebranie referencji odpowiadającym zamysłowi projektu.

Kolejnym etapem jest stworzenie mapy poziomu na podstawie gameplay'u oraz filmów gameplay'owych znalezionych w internecie.
Po stworzeniu mapy utworzyłam graf przedstawiający flow poziomu (jak przebiega oraz gdzie są poszczególne eventy).

Następnie rozpoczęłam proces blockoutu poziomu w Unreal Enginie.

During the work, the first step was to gather references that corresponded to the project concept.
The next stage is to create a level map based on gameplay and gameplay videos found on the internet.
After creating the map, I created a graph representing the level flow (how it progresses and where the individual events are located).
Then, I began the level blockout process in Unreal Engine.
